My first-round interview lasted about 20 minutes. The structure included a brief overview of my background, some information about the role, and time for my questions. Compensation was described as a base salary of around 45k with performance-based bonuses.
The discussion placed strong emphasis on expectations and the consequences of underperformance. I personally felt the tone was more focused on potential failure than growth or support, which did not match the type of work culture I’m seeking. Because of this, I decided not to continue in the process.
