I replied honestly that I’m not currently interested in starting my own venture — my focus is on gaining solid experience in my field and potentially working at a product-based company to deepen my skills. My response seemed to genuinely surprise him, perhaps because he expected a more entrepreneurial mindset, but I believe in building a strong foundation first.
