I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VTS (New York, NY) in Oct 2018
Interview
The interview was broken into two steps:
1. Phone screen with engineering director (some softball questions and light technical screen)
2. All day on-site interview featuring several pairing sessions, as well as a white boarding architecture interview and cultural interviews with a PM and the CTO. While the all-day on site was LONG, I would say it was really beneficial for me to get a good feel for the company culture. Unlike other companies I was interviewing at, none of the interviews featured heavy algorithms questions – they were all rooted in real day to day programming problems which I appreciated.
After the interview, feedback and offer turn around were quick. I was on the fence with other companies, and VTS went the extra mile to attract me to the company. I've been here for several months now and really enjoy the company.

Extremely rude interviewers with a very strong French accent who could not understand English. I explained everything about 5 times and they started arguing because I gave them perfect solution in the first attempt.
