One hour zoom interview with the assistant manager of the quality team. No HR and main manager present. During the interview, the manager asked me about my ‘short’ stints in various positions over the years. One thing led to another, she ultimately asked if I would do the same in this new job, to which I gave her my answer, objecting her assumption. Still, she doubled down and asked if I would get married anytime soon, and that I would leave soon(?) And by this point I was already feeling uncomfortable about the questions, and had to give her a firm ‘No’, but she may have thought to keep to mood light or something, because she tried to ask if I was attached, to which I just laughed along with her. Aside from this topic, she had also mentioned about the company’s working culture, and asked if I was okay with OT-ing frequently.
Fast forward to a few days later, I managed to secure a second interview but had turned them down due to their unprofessional way of asking interview questions.
