Knowledge of tutoring subject. Gave a demonstration of tutor capabilities. I wasn't nervous because I was comfortable tutoring the subject to the panel. Visual, Kenesthetic, and Auditory learners are out there, so I had to emphasize on teaching them all to create independent learners.

For the soft questions, I had an amazing panel interview with challenging questions that tested if I knew the material I was going to tutor. Also, took a test afterwards and passed it to show I was academically prepared.

New hires have to answer some questions about the subject they are trying to tutor. But if you know someone that knows someone then you will most likely get the job.
