Virtual interviewing could be utilised more effectively when hiring for remote / hybrid roles to save long journeys for face-to-face interviews without any expenses.
The interviews were really informal, which was surprising for the level of role, but that seemed to be the general culture.
CEO and COO were great throughout the recruitment process and the HR team kept in regular contact. They were really open and transparent in providing information to help with the presentation they requested as part of the selection process.
The face-to-face interview was pretty off-putting to start with as there were interviewers (six of them) present that we not appropriate in my opinion. The invite to interview also didn't specify these people.
A psychometric test is used as part of their selection process, which is quite old fashioned for an organisation that is wanting to be forward thinking.
