I applied online. I interviewed at Vanta (London, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
The process was: Recruitment chat, zoom with the hiring manager, take home task, presentation in office, calls with multiple team members and a culture fit.
There was quite a lot of ‘homework’ involved, and time taken in going all the way to the office for just a 45 minute meeting. The last three stages were all scheduled at once over the course of a week, so I didnt have any feedback or go/no-go between them.
After this, I recieved a rejection email, and then an email from the recruiter contact telling me I would find out in a few days. The rejection email offered feedback, but I never heard back from my response taking up the offer.
Overall, a lot of time spent for a slightly chaotic and disappointing process.
I’d recommend that you don’t make candidates do all three final stages by default, rather reject them after each one if it’s not a match.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Create a mock QBR with a real client and role play with the hiring manager.
It was tough with multiple steps and a presentation. The prompt was incredibly vague and I probably spent 20 hours or more prepping. Everyone was very kind and welcoming I would say.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vanta (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2025
Interview
Logistics of interview process were as follows:
1. Recruiter phone screen
2. Hiring manager Zoom interview
3. Peer Interview
4. Cross functional interview
5. Mock QBR presentation
6. Leadership interview
Overall the interview process was really smooth and went quickly! The conversations were engaging and everyone asked thoughtful questions. The interview was far more conversational than expected which was a nice change of pace. Very communicative throughout the whole process and made it all super easy!
