      Productivity Analyst Interview

      26 May 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Varonis Systems in May 2017

      Interview

I had a phone interview with the recruiter who seemed pretty disinterested in interviewing. I was told that a call would be scheduled the following day with the hiring manager. I discussed my experience with her and she wanted me to take an excel test that would be sent over by the recruiter. I received later that afternoon and about 48 hours to complete it. The excel test was simple if you knew vlookups and pivot tables/charts and was pretty short. After submitting the test I received an automated email stating that they were moving forward with other candidates. I felt like their decision was based on the excel test and if you didn't do well or as they expected, then you were no longer considered. honestly, i wouldn't want to work for a place that based their employment decision on an excel test and didn't even bother to meet the candidate or give them a chance.
