Met with 3 partners including the boss himself, Mr. Bill Vaslas, for 2 interview sessions over the course of 3 weeks. Long and slow process. They knew my salary requirements from the start but strung me along anyway, only to make a smack in the face offer almost a month after initial contact from them. They requested writing sample and 3 references which I provided and whom they did contact. Everything went well but Vaslas said it was just a money issue and could not meet my demands, this despite knowing what they were from the start. Seems like the firm wants to hire someone on the cheap and doesn’t care about potential employees or what they put them through.

It was a very nice interview experience. Professional atmosphere. Pleasant conversation about the history of the firm, firm structure, types of cases they handle, benefits they offer and of course my professional experience.
