Technical recruiter reached out to me over email and called me. The interview went very well and he was excited about submitting my profile and advised I should receive an interview the following day. I had to follow up with the recruiter to ask the status and his response was that they passed on my profile, which is fine, but the fact that he didn't follow up with me and responded with a very short, rude response wasn't necessary.
