I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Vaya Health (Asheville, NC) in Apr 2026
Interview
My interview experience felt disjointed and not well aligned with the nature of the role.
I was contacted almost six months after submitting my application, and limited information was provided about the position in advance. During the interview, however, I was asked to respond to detailed, role-specific questions, which was challenging given the lack of clarity provided beforehand.
The interview questions appeared highly scripted, which limited the ability to have a natural, conversational dialogue and made it difficult to fully demonstrate relevant experience.
Some questions did not seem appropriate for a role of this level. For example, being asked to list multiple uses for a pen felt overly simplistic and not reflective of the expectations associated with an auditing-focused position. There were also questions requiring detailed recall of graduate-level work from twenty years ago, rather than focusing on current, applicable skills.
It did not appear that my resume had been reviewed in depth prior to the interview.
Additionally, the majority of interviewers kept their cameras off during the virtual interview, which created a more impersonal experience and made it challenging to build rapport.
Overall, there seemed to be a lack of cohesion in both the interview structure and team dynamics. This contributed to a perception that the organizational culture may not be strongly established, which made it difficult to fully engage in the interview process.
Unfortunately I sent the wrong day for the interview, and the VP didnot read my resume nor did she a conversation with PC. the job is misleading she listed program manager work with project manager, pay no maam
run this team seems very unorganized and its very much too a hit the ground running type environment code run . You will be doing two three jobs at one time. VP of PMO does not know the definition of Project manger and Program manager. She raised her hand serval times during the interview and told over the entrée interview only leaving me with 5 minute to ask mines. she evaluated my ability and never read my resume. which makes me question who make the initial choice to get interview if she question your ability in interview. VP of PMO has to know to get that role she has not true PMP skills of knowledge.
