During the interview process, I had three rounds of interviews. The first was with a principal software engineer who interviewed me for 30 minutes via Teams Meeting. The majority of the questions focused on my previous experiences. The second interview was with a manager who interviewed me for an hour over Teams and mostly inquired about my past company projects. During the third and final interview, I was given an onsite tour of the company, where I learned about their equipment, followed by a delightful free lunch. Then, I was interviewed by three people for half an hour, where they asked me about topics like C++ linked list, delegates, and OOP inheritance. I was also given a coding exercise, which I completed within the allotted hour. I felt confident in my answers and solution to the coding exercise. The manager then asked about my desired salary and references, and promised to follow up with me by the middle of the next week. I did not hear back from VectorNav by the end of the next week. I reached out to inquire about my job status and was informed that they had decided not to move forward with my application. I followed up to request the reasons for their decision, but unfortunately did not receive a reply.
