I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Ventria Bioscience (Junction City, KS) in Aug 2020
Interview
Emailed questions back and forth with CEO/President. They do not have an HR department. Had a 1 hour phone interview with VP of Quality, then later had an in person interview. The in person session included a tour and 3 separate hour long interviews with other VP’s. It was long and a bit arduous. Would have preferred a group interview.

Interview
I was contacted by email and then directed to LinkedIn to submit two questions which were recorded using video answers. I then submitted the videos. I was told within fifteen minutes that I had done a great job and the next step would be getting contacted by phone for more information and questions about the position. It was easier than I thought.

Interview
The interview process was relatively painless, with quick turn-around time between application, phone screen, and on site interview. The hiring manager greeted me, while on his phone and proceeded to check his phone for the entirety of our conversation. I gave a 30 minute presentation and spoke with a total of 5 employees overall. The hiring manager prodded me for technical tips and possible clientele in the area, which is not proper during an interview. I was promised contact information for follow-up thank-you notes, but the hiring manager did not follow through as promised. Furthermore, the hiring manager ignored my thank you note, sent me a generic rejection e-mail, and refused to provide me with clear feedback. I did not receive an offer, but am glad for it because it is clear that I was not valued as a candidate.
