Interview
I was contacted on LinkedIn by a recruiter out of the San Mateo office for an Account Executive position. We had a quick chat about the organization, role and what my experience was. Progressing through the process I had a chat with a sales manager that I had a great conversation with, unfortunately Verkada was looking for someone with 'hard' sales experience and I didn't have much in the way of a tech sales background. After that conversation I had a few more chats with the recruiter and ultimately pivoted to being considered for an Associate Account Executive position. I went through the next round of interviews with various levels of sales managers and was ultimately extended the official offer for an associate account executive position. Credit to the recruiting team (Alex and Julia) for being extremely accommodating through the entire process and the Verkada team for allowing me to tour the office and meet some of the team before making my final decision.

Tell me about a challenge you encountered and how you worked through it.
It was a great interview process, received from first round to find al (3rd round) under 3 weeks. The team is supportive and wants you to grow. They want coachable individuals trying to break into tech sales.
