I applied online. I interviewed at Vervint (Minneapolis, MN)
Interview
The initial interview was in-person with a Senior Designer. Then followed by a second round that was in-person with a bigger group. About half were joined by a zoom call and I walked through my portfolio.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and what you enjoy about UX design?
Overview of responsibilities with solo or group interviews along the way. Not too long, maybe a couple hours. I met with HR and then Application Development where I shared experiences and walked through some personal code. I talked about my previous work, we exchanged questions, and that was about it.

Question 1
What was one of your most difficult challenges to overcome while working for a previous employer?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Vervint in Dec 2021
Interview
A recruiter reached out via email, set up the time to meet with 2 recruiters via Teams. On the day of the interview, one of the recruiters was late so I spoke to one recruiter who seems to be in the same room with another person. I could hear that person talking very loudly in the background.
They spent the first 20 mins asking me about how I got to where I am. They never talked about the position and what they are looking for. RED FLAG! Then came the salary question. I responded by asking what were they budgeted for...this was when one of the recruiters told me (a person with 10+ years of experience) was not qualified for this senior-mid level position...BUT they still wanted to know my salary range because they will put me on file for the next 6 months. BS!!! I read a few negative reviews on here before I applied for this job. ANOTHER RED FLAG!
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
