I went through the interview process with Vestwell and had a very disappointing experience. After completing three interviews for the original role, I was told my resume was “overqualified” and was encouraged by the recruiter to interview for an alternative position. I moved forward and completed an additional three interviews, only to encounter inconsistent and delayed communication throughout the process.
I was repeatedly told I would hear back by the end of the week, which often did not happen. After more than a month, I was informed that the role had been filled and was advised to reconnect in the new year—after which the recruiter stopped responding altogether.
The lack of transparency, follow-through, and the overall “breadcrumbing” during the interview process felt unprofessional and frustrating. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Vestwell’s recruitment process or platform.
