Very professional , regular interview process. Nothing negative to say about it , standard interview process we can find in many similar companies across the US. The communications were smooth , polite, professional and process relatively fast.
The recruiter called me the day I applied, which is good. Then he asked if I could interview IN-PERSON the next day, knowing full well I lived a 2 hour drive away and it was already late afternoon when he asked. OK with a video interview, he kept trickling in more information by individual emails each hour ("can you prepare a slide deck for us?", "if you can't do that, it's OK, we'll figure something out") and then drops that the CEO herself is joining the call. The overall interview was so strange - CEO was too busy to even participate in the interview, and I just got a bunch of deadpan questions from the UX designer on the call. The only time I got the room to chuckle was anytime I mentioned owning one of their products. Then ghosted for a month, after which I saw the job was reposted. I mentioned this to the recruiter, and ONLY then did he say "sorry, we are moving forward with the candidate search." Bunch of weirdos.
First was a phone interview with HR. Standard screening questions. Second was an on-site interview with HR (same person as phone interview) and the hiring manager. During the on-site interview, it started with an "ice breaker" question then went into the standard interview questioning.
