      Sales Representative Interview

      23 Apr 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Viatris in Mar 2025

      Interview

Initial phone screening by H.R then 1:1 first virtual meeting with direct line Manager. Before the second interview you are inundated with psychometric and personality tests ( McQuiag and The Rogers Group) 5 tests in total is a serious concern regarding a lack of trust in their own hiring or evaluation process; over reliance on tests instead of real-world performance: culture of surveillance and control; mistrust and micromanagement. The 2nd interview is with the VP of sales and direct line Manager, again with a role play and case study provided 48 hrs before hand (which was never received, and a further sign of internal dysfunction) There was also a refusal to elaborate on the REM, signalling a further invalidating environment. I declined to progress any further. In short: repeated psychometric testing suggests a company might have trust issues, poor leadership, ethical blind spots, and a toxic culture in which you are constantly monitored and “optimized,” rather than empowered and trusted.

The first virtual meeting will touch on your experience/resume with a few behavioural questions.
