The process had two parts. It was a team interview and it lasted for about and hour and a half. This position is looking for someone who has knowledge of the industry and can work in a fast paced environment.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victor (Philadelphia, PA) in Apr 2019
Interview
-Hirevue Interview, then in-person (or video) interview with two SVPs. The interviewers were professional and asked good questions. They wanted to get a good understanding of the candidate's background and interests in the insurance industry.

Question 1
Normal Interview questions: background, strengths/weaknesses, why you want to work in insurance/underwriting.
I applied for a Schinnerer position online and about 3 weeks later was contacted via email from the Marsh HR department (NY) to schedule an in-person interview. About 15 emails later, we had scheduled the interview. I was later contacted by another Marsh HR person who wanted to speak for a few minutes before my scheduled in-person interview with Schinnerer. She also asked for some writing samples, which I provided, although I'm not confident that those samples ever made it down to the folks at Schinnerer.
Another item of particular note - the Marsh recruiter gave me 3 names of folks I would be interviewed by in the panel discussion - however, the 3 names she gave me did NOT end up being the 3 people I met with! So I spent time preparing to meet people I never would meet - and did not have time to prepare to meet the folks who were actually sitting there.
Oh - the Marsh recruiter also did not know the name of the president of Schinnerer, whom I would be meeting with. I asked her "He's the president, right?" and she said "Umm, let me check, I'm not really sure." Wow.
So, yes, there were red flags going into the interview but I went anyhow.
I had one interview with the president, a panel interview with 3 people, and another 1:1 interview, followed by a wrap-up with the president. Everyone was professional and the interviews were pretty standard. So I'm glad I went in.
They had mentioned they were looking to move quickly with identifying the right candidate so I should hear something within a few days or so. It's been over 2 weeks and I did not hear anything back whatsoever, so I assume we are not moving forward, however it would have been nice to receive at least an email given that I made time to prepare, come in and speak with several people.
