Due to the nature of my situation, the process took longer than what is normal for them. I had a call with HR, who then set up a call with the VP of Production. That call lasted an hour and covered a wide-range of topics. An in-person interview was to be scheduled later. However, weeks went by without any response and then a follow-up email finally arrived with apologies for taking so long.
The group interview consisted of meeting with the production team. This included another face-to-face interview with the VP of Production. After that second interview with him, I would move from room-to-room to meet with others in the team. In total, it was 2 hours of interviews with 4 people. The production team were nice, professional, and asked good questions. One of the interviewers, however, had a difficult time staying focused. They would ask a question and as I replied would seem distracted and flip my CV over and over again never asking a follow-up or acknowledging my answer. The last interview was a phone interview with a remote employee in one of their conference rooms. Again, professional, friendly, and a pleasure to speak with. However, at the conclusion of the call, other employees came into the conference room for another meeting. I was expecting someone to came back and retrieve me, but no one did. I quickly grabbed my stuff and walked out of the room and made my way to the lobby and exit. It eventually took several emails inquiring about the status of my position and after a month they finally responded with a "not a good fit" reply.
Overall, I found the people very nice but the process frustrating and not as professional as it should have been.
