I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vision Education & Media (New York, NY) in Sept 2018
Interview
Was a very smooth, comfortable interview where I was asked a variety of specific questions related to how I would handle various situations involving parents and students in crisis. I was asked about my experience with management and sales and also asked many questions to get a sense of how I functioned emotionally.

Interview
The interview process included a teaching demo followed by subsequent questions common to any typical interview. For my demo, I envisioned the algorithm for a "Create Your Own Adventure" program using block code (Scratch).

Interview
I applied online and received an email for a phone interview approximately 2 weeks later. The phone interview was pretty standard--they asked me 5-6 questions about my previous work as a teacher and why I would be a good fit. About a week later I was invited to the office to interview. I was asked to prepare and demonstrate a mock lesson and answer some more questions about my interest in the position. Several days later, I was contacted for references and received an offer shortly after.
