I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Voxel (CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Was asked job related experience. Went to multiple interview rounds and waited for final round. No response yet. Don't know what else to do. Interview was pretty average, talking about related experiences and specific situations.
I first completed an online coding assessment, which went well. After that, I had a recruiter screening, followed by a second coding assessment with a software engineer. The interview was 45 minutes long, but the problem had an unnecessarily lengthy description, and the codebase I had to work with was quite large. It took some time to understand the pattern and get up to speed. Overall, it went okay, but I had a sense that the interviewer and I were not quite aligned, and they ultimately did not move forward with my application.
One piece of feedback I’d offer: maintaining a basic level of professionalism in interviews matters—something as simple as appropriate attire (not wearing a tank top as an interviewer) can make a difference in setting the right tone for a first interaction.
Worst Experience Ever!!!!
After successful Online Assessment I reached out to the recruiter myself and then she scheduled a screening call which was held by a Director of some other team(Lack of management).
Then I was invited for a coding round which was great.
After that there was a full loop round (Coding-Debugging-System Design-Behavioral).
the coding and debugging round went really well but then recruiter reached out to me telling they have cancelled all the following interviews because of company need.
And I was rejected mid interview.
Horrible Process.
