Found a job on LinkedIn that said it was for Lone Star College, but found out that they put that there to trick people in going into their office. Who’s going into their office, they said I would be working with XFinity and selling their products to a field working place. That was not what I was expecting applying for the job, and not to mention their email is filled with spelling and grammar errors. Place sounds and looks like a scheme from the get go. Don’t apply here, as they make it out to be something that it is not.

Question 1
Why do you feel you would be a good fit at this company?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at WAVE Executives (Vienna, VA)
Interview
I decided to leave a review because it’s very hard to find solid information about this company. They contacted me via email and text the day after I put in an application. The texts were coming in like 4 at a time, repeating the same message, so that was off-putting. I went online to schedule my interview. When I arrived, there were about 10 other people waiting to be interviewed and people were constantly going in and out interviewing. I was called back (40 mins after my scheduled interview time) for the fastest interview ever. The guy asked me what position I was most interested in (intern or management trainee) and what skills I’m interested in learning. We talked about my event experience and he told me I was short listed for a second interview in a few days. I came back for the second interview and there was once again a lot of people waiting and going in and out. The office isn’t set up yet so it was chaotic w construction workers still working. I interviewed in an open room while other people were interviewing around me, which made it hard to hear and focus. On this interview she asked more about my experience and told me more about the “intern” position which is actually doing face to face sales of Xfinity, Sprint, and some energy company at different Walmart and Best Buy stores. The pay is $10/hr plus commission. She claimed that you can move into an account manager position in 3 weeks if you are getting results and show leadership ability but I get the impression that there is a high turnover rate. I doubt most people stay after seeing how much their checks really are. I met with two different managers the second interview. The 1st lady was very engaging, explained a lot about the actual job, and made good eye contact. The second seemed uninterested and looked distracted while she was interviewing me. She only had two questions but i waited 30 mins just to speak to her and she told me they will be calling 2 or 3 people back out of the seemingly hundreds of people they called in. Either way, I don’t think this is a good fit for me so I’ll be declining the offer if I get it. Waste of time and money traveling for interviews that could be done via phone.

Question 1
What traits do you have that would help you to be successful in this role?
I applied online. I interviewed at WAVE Executives (Houston, TX) in Jun 2018
Interview
They have crowds they are interviewing. Anyone with a pulse is called for a first interview and you get an email or text to schedule an interview. The email is misleading because it gives two names of people that are not present for the "interview". This was a waste of my time.
