WD Firmware Team Leader interview questions

The process lasted 2 months and 2-3 weeks and I had 6 interviews, visiting the company in Kfar Saba 5 times !!! At the very end, I was asked to provide a few contacts: boss , colleague and someone who once reported into me for a reference check and they were not approached, which is a bad , because I contacted to them and asked their permission. I don't want to trouble people about reference check too frequently. I had 3 technical interviews for 2 positions and I was not told that the last technical interview is for a position that I didn't apply. All the interviews , including technical, were about the same thing, which is my background as a manager. I was asked very similar questions and i told similar things 6 times! After the 1st interview, which i passed and was set the 2nd one, with someone who didn't come to the 1st interview, even though she was invited, I was told that the job is frozen. A few weeks after a recruiter called me and again asked to continue. After I was set the 3rd and 4th interviews in the same date (upon my request ) I received an automatic email that my candidature was rejected, but , as I was explained, it was because according to the law they are demanded to reply within some time and therefore they send rejects automatically . I was surprised to get a call and to arrive to the local CEO office within 2 hours, because he needs to travel abroad and they want to speed up the process (no comments) and i arrived. I had twice a discussion about compensation package. After spending about 15-18 hours , traveling 5 times to the office for absolutely identical interviews with 7 people, and wasting money on oil , I didn't get an offer . The explanation was "we decided to proceed with another candidate". I must say that in the past I experienced a similar story in Sandisk. I think corporates, including Western Digital,don't respect people's time.
