I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WP Engine (Limerick, Limerick) in Jun 2025
Interview
Great experience! Very easy process flow, the whole time the recruiter was in contact and helping with any questions I might had. Right after the first call with the recruiter, I booked my technical interview and received a pdf from the recruiter with tips of what to prepare for, which was very helpful and interview was very straight to the point. A few days after the interview I received an email to book the managerial interview, which was done by 2 managers and also very easy, prepare your answers following the STAR method and you will do great. A few days after I got the answer and a few more days later I received my offer, but all of that was explained, and I kept getting follow ups about the process.
CLI commands, DNS, difference between plugins and themes, how to build a WordPress site, common HTTP errors, LAMP stack, SFTP, CDN, SSL. Basically study all of the technical bullet points they provide you.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at WP Engine (Omaha, NE) in Nov 2021
Interview
I had an initial 30 minute phone interview. Although the company seems to have the best interests in mind for their employees, the pay stated did not match those interests in my opinion. Interviewing at a few other places, it seems the pay range is far behind other matching positions.

Question 1

Interview
It was a positive interview experience overall, HR were good to keep me updated throughout the process and in the interviews themselves the technical questions were relevant to the role.
