I applied for the position through LinkedIn and got an email from a female Talent Acquisition in Tokyo for the first interview. I wanted to take a moment to provide feedback on my recent interview for the senior digital media planner position. While I appreciate the opportunity to interview with your company, I found that the experience was somewhat challenging due to the conduct of the interviewer. Specifically, there were instances where I felt that the tone and approach used during the conversation were not conducive to a positive or constructive discussion. For example, she said “that’s it?” with cold expressions and made dismissive comments after I briefly introduced myself. In addition to that, after I informed her that I would like not to disclose my expected salary, she said that I will not go on to the next interview. This made it difficult for me to effectively express my qualifications and ask relevant questions about the role and company culture.
