      Project Manager Interview

      18 Aug 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Taipei
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Walsin Lihwa (Taipei) in Oct 2010

      Interview

      - Initially recommended by current employee - Went through 3 rounds of interviews, first with the overall leader of the project, then with the business manager, then with HR director for salary negotiations - As this was for a senior position, the first round was to gage whether the candidate can reach a good repoire with the resident senior management - Next round was to gage how the the candidate can help the business - Final round was to gage the overall attractive of the candidate in order to assess salary level - Senior and business management were cordial, but HR director was very condescending and belittling in order to try to reduce salary level expectations
