I completed a final round interview and received positive signals from the IT manager before and during the process. After following up by voicemail a week later, I did not receive a callback. Two weeks after the interview, I asked for a status update because I had other offers pending and received a rejection email shortly afterward. The lack of communication after the final round made the process feel unprofessional.
