I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wanelo (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
phone call - they said, it's good, they wanna move forward, and will set up another phone interview soon. Next I get a message in 2 hrs, saying they were looking for a server kinda guy. Why interview a mobile developer then!
I'd like to apologize for your interview experience, which is not a part of our normal process. After speaking with you and discussing with the team, we realized we were looking for someone with more experience designing the APIs that support the client-side of the application. I understand it was frustrating that we already provided next steps for the interview process and then decided not to move forward, so I apologize for the misleading communication. We really do appreciate your feedback and have since improved now as a result of that learning. I wish you the best of luck on your job search!
