I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Waste Connections (Houston, TX)
Interview
The interview process was fairly easy. The company feels like a bit of a boys' club. Out of the seven people I interviewed with, only one was a women. First there was a phone interview with an employee from HR, then a week later there was a phone interview with two employees from the same office. Next there was an in person interview with four employees from the same office (this includes the two employees from the phone interview). Lastly an in person interview with two different employees from the same office

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Waste Connections (Calgary, AB) in Mar 2018
Interview
Was contacted by telephone initially, to get a broad idea about my interest and career goals. I was told to complete a financial analysis of the company overnight and told about the position, I was later scheduled for an interview for the next day. The interview was all based upon my personality. I was not asked anything about the company, my experience or the analysis I was told to prepare (which took a while given the size of the company), or given many details. My interviewer wasn't sure what my role was and indicated vague ideas of duties not specified in the posting or on the telephone with HR.
