I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WebMD Health in May 2024
Interview
Three rounds of interviews: first was a quick screening call with HR, then with the hiring manager, and then a peer from the team. Both conversations with the hiring manager/peer were casual, focusing on how my past experiences could be applied to the role.
The low point of the process was the Talent Acquisition Specialist. Despite conducting all three interviews within a single week and accommodating a last-minute interview request with only an hour's notice, I was immediately ghosted. My HR contact became unresponsive, and I received an automated rejection three weeks later despite my repeated follow-ups.
Since then, another Talent Acquisition Specialist from WebMD has contacted me regarding a different role. Despite providing my availability twice, I haven't received any further communication. The poor transparency and basic respect within WebMD's HR appears to be tolerated as no one seems to be accountable to their candidates.
I wouldn't waste my time again.

Interview
You will receive an email from someone from talent acquisition to set up a phone interview. This person may or may not work in house for WebMD/Medscape. They do not know much about the role so they are asking questions based on keywords in the job description. They either move you forward to a WedMD/Medscape employee whether or not they think you will land the job.
