The first interview was in person for around 30 to 45 minutes. Most of the conversation was around personal items and less about experience. I guess more to understand a culture fit. The second interview was closer to 30 minutes and was more about the owner boasting about himself and then sharing how HE is different. Not once did he mention the team was a success or the work the team does. It was all about him. Based on some of the reviews on Glassdoor I am glad I didn't accept their low ball offer.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WebMarkets in Jun 2018
Interview
First interview was in person for 30 minutes.
2nd interview was 10 minutes and asked to provide actual leads (cold call opportunities) and provide write up via email. I was told to expect a follow up call with a decision the following week.
Total waste of time. I provided leads and No follow up. For the record, legit companies would not ask candidates to work for free or cold call leads prior to making an offer.
Unfortunately this wasn't the right fit. We would never ask for "cold call leads" in an interview. Instead, we asked for your research on who would be good candidates as a WebMarkets client. We were gauging your understanding of our target audience based on our conversation in the 1st interview.
Best of luck on your future endeavors.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at WebMarkets (Boise, ID) in Jun 2017
Interview
I applied through my school's internship program for a 280-hour internship. At my school (Meridian Technical Charter High School), we hold an intern fair where several companies come and browse through our resumes and work samples and take the resumes of those students that they are interested in hiring on. After the intern fair, I was called in for a personal interview with the management team and was hired on shortly after.
