One of the more bizarre interviews I've ever done. It's a small office, and the interviewing partner seemed more interested in gauging whether I would be a good personal fit and was on the same page as him, as opposed to investigating my background and ability to do the job . The interview got somewhat combative and awkward at times, which I'd attribute in large part to a personality clash. I knew before I'd even completed the interview that I wouldn't be working there. I don't begrudge the hiring partner conducting an unorthodox interview because there's no room for even the potential of personal issues at a firm this size, just be aware going into an interview that if your interviewer doesn't see what he wants to see fairly quickly you are going to have an interesting couple hours.
