Zoom interview. I could see the company does not have HR structure.
Asked gernal things - feels like they are looking for a good vibe.
You can ask questions about the company.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Weldex (Cypress, CA)
Interview
There was one quick phone screen and then I was invited on site for an person interview with the sales managers. During the on site, they asked standard questions about work style, learning style, and ability to travel.
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Weldex (Cypress, CA) in May 2015
Interview
Met with an account manager and sales manager at UC Irvine career fair. They seemed nice enough, and scheduled an interview with me. They informed me a few days before that because of high number of applicants, they were going to add "at least one other applicant" in my session for a group interview.
Interview day comes, and they put me with 5 other people. Seriously. Then, one of the Korean executives (Weldex manufactures in Korea) comes in along with the sales manager and starts asking questions like, "Are you obedient?" and how he likes to only hire people that will do whatever he says. He mentions the key to success in business and in life is to listen ardently to your boss. Myself and the other poor interviewees barely speak about our experience or education while this executive is going on about how Korea does business, Korean business practices, and the general value of obedience. It was a very strange interview, they never reached out to me, and I never bothered to call them back.
