I think I did well, having revised the company's history, memorised their values, and reviewed recent projects and key parts of their financial report. During the interview, I spoke clearly, conveyed my points effectively, and demonstrated my enthusiasm. However, one of the questions, "Why do you want to join the investment team at Wellcome?" did not make sense to me. My answer, "because the people within the team have great skills and experience, etc.," apparently wasn't answering the question. So I thought the interviewer meant the company, so I said " the values at the company, such as .... alignment with mine since I also ...." Apparently, that wasn't right as well and I didn't answer the question after that it just felt like the interviewers already failed me but maybe that was in my head. This is actually really confusing to me, but I hope whoever is reading this can crack what they mean.
