Interview
I went through 2 phone screening calls with GymPass, each of which took 30 minutes or fewer. After that, I was brought into their New York office (a WeWork space) and interviewed 1:1 with two of their Northeast Region heads of Business Development. The two gentlemen were nice enough, though one of them focused a lot on numbers and math in the interview - including mental percentage math which I did fine, but didn't really understand why that was being thrown at me. I followed up with their recruitment coordinator since I had other offers on the table and I was informed I would hear early the following week. I was smart in accepting a different offer because 3 weeks later and still haven't heard back from them. I didn't know ghosting was a new way for companies to operate.

Interview
After reading the Glassdoor reviews I was hesitant about Gympass, but decided to give it a try. I reached out to someone in my network to learn more about the role and they passed my interest along to the HR department. Someone from the HR reached out to me to schedule the first round interview. Literally two minutes before the interview HR asked if they can reschedule, because they were still trying to finalize the role and were having internal discussions. I understood and was fine with rescheduling, but HR canceled the interview again, this time 30 mins before the call with the same excuse and asked if they can reschedule. It was such a frustrating experience to go through and wouldn't wish it upon anyone. Honestly don't waste your time.

Interview
Started with a phone screen, then went to an in-person interview then a final phone call with someone else in the company from another department. I had a great rapport with everyone I spoke to/met with. After the last phone call, I was given a verbal offer, but nothing official because they were "waiting to create the structure of the team/commission structure before they could give an official offer."
In the following weeks, I followed up routinely as I would told it wouldn't be long until I received the official offer - and I was not going to give notice to my current employer without something in writing. Then as 1-2 MONTHS passed, no response. They completely ghosted me. I've never experienced anything so unprofessional, I was so excited to start the role and had a great experience up to that point but was very disappointed in this company that seemed very promising.
