I applied through university. I interviewed at West Hills Community College
Interview
5-minute Professor presentation (for a sample lesson) was required together with the interview, and the panel was composed of the head of the department, a professor in your field, and a professor of another field. Transcripts were required, too. The application process was reasonable, and you are most likely going to be contacted by email first to begin the hiring/interview process.
The hiring process is fairly simple as long as you meet the minimum requirements. If you don't meet these requirements save your application materials. Interviews are done by a panel of dean of student services and full-time faculty; they are comfortable and friendly. A brief lesson plan is expected and you will be questioned about teaching purposes and practices as well as how you plan to build on your previous experience.
