In fact, I’ve had the best results with applications that include them. Within 24 hours, their recruiter, Amanda, reached out to schedule our initial conversation for Thursday. We discussed my experience in detail, and I answered additional questions about my design process and how I’ve worked with KPIs in the past. Amanda also shared the next steps, which included a take-home assignment that they would compensate me for. I didn’t end up moving forward, as they decided to proceed with candidates whose experience aligned more directly with the role. I was notified of their decision the following Tuesday. Even though I wasn’t selected, the experience felt very human from start to finish.
