I had 2 calls to start. The first one was with a recruiter and the second was with the hiring manager. Seemed like I'd be able to add value to the company, so I moved to the 45min tech screen. My tech screen interviewer came from a back-end background and was soured by my opinion on front-end development, so the interview was over before it started. I emphasized that my priority as a front-end engineer is the user.
