I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Which Wich (Indianapolis, IN) in Dec 2018
Interview
Overall it was pretty quick, we sat down and I was asked about previous experience/work history, we did a couple role playing scenarios and finished up with the usual "any questions for me" and it was done.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Which Wich (Charlotte, NC)
Interview
Really straightforward with the questions. They are really laid back and everyone seem to love working there. Was able to ask question after and actually have a conversion with the store manager.
I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Which Wich in Apr 2012
Interview
Interview was simple and straightforward. Responded to posting, was contacted by General Manager via phone within 2-3 days. Very brief overview of expectations over the phone. Was asked to come in for 1:1 interview.
Interview lasted under 20 minutes, followed by filling out basic paperwork. General interview questions asked, such as how I would respond to two coworkers escalating in an argument, specifics on prior applicable experience, adaptability to work environment, etc. Filled out paperwork, was back three days later to shadow General Manager. Was trained for a week on the line in the various stations, took a mostly-completed fill-in-the-blank test on the 51 sandwiches concerning their ingredients and portions. After that, assumed duties of Assistant Manager, being progressively trained upwards over the course of the rest of the month. New duties siphoned downward in manageable stream over time during this process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard questions--no "curve ball". Interviewer was more concerned in taking in a fresh, presentable face without any bad habits from former management work, and maintained eye contact while assessing my body language, level of comfort and conversational agility.
