Provided interview questions in advance. Candidates should be sure to include cover letters, resume/CV, and any other materials requested for full consideration. Generally there will be a 3-5 person interviewer panel. Understanding the mission and values and an ability to articulate that you have the experience to conduct research and evaluation with considerable autonomy is important.

Interview
This was a phone screen. The interviewer was unfamiliar with the job and asked questions about experience that was not listed on the job posting. I looked on the website for more information about the job or a job description prior to the phone conversation, but was not able to find anything other than the job posting, which did not list the responsibilities and duties.

What experience do you have with compliance reporting? (listed in job posting as "will work with other HR team members to prepare compliance reports")
Describe your approach to dealing with employee relations situations with managers and employees.
There were three rounds of interviews with several teams. The teams were generally friendly. However, best practices for accessibility were not used. Overall friendly and professional interview process. Application to hire took about four months.
