The interview was informative and clear. The manager was well spoken and passionate about the job. It was a nice environment, welcoming and cared for. In the end, it wasnt the industry for me.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Windward
Interview
It was an HR & Coding interview.
Everyone was super friendly. They had an open environment and a very appealing attitude. The questions for the coding interview were unique and required creative thinking, which is fantastic because, as a student, being asked for knowledge is a kind of reversed mindset - You are supposed to learn in the internship.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They explained more than enough to know how to solve the problem even without prior knowledge (only DS and Algorithms)
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Windward (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Jan 2020
Interview
Applied through linked in, the process took around 3 weeks till I got called by another data scientist with phone interview and then received a proposal to come to the on site interview.
On site interview was really strange. The interviewer challenged my living location (why do you suggest me to come to the interview if you think that I live too far from the place?) and then gave ironic remarks about the way I was dressed (it was a rainy day and I came with waterproof pants and boots)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General questions about current projects (and how would you cope with wrong results of the classification algo) and a coding question (you are given a price of the stock on each day), when will you need to sell in order to maximize the profit).
Hello -- I believe you associated this interview with the wrong Windward. We are Windward Consulting Group, Inc. (www.windward.com). I believe you interviewed with Windward.ai, located in Tel Aviv. Sounds like you had a bad experience, but to be clear, this interview was not with us, our Windward Consulting Group. Good luck!
