I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Winn Technology Group (Palm Harbor, FL) in Oct 2019
Interview
Employer responded to my online application, and replied to my inquiries. Job description and pay structure was clearly communicated via email. Personal interviewer advised specific job execution and abilities required.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Little interview. However, emphasis placed on job execution and tests were given to determine actual phone and computer skills.
I declined to interview but I did receive a call back. After their site bugged out while applying, I decided to call for the best email to send my resume to. This is after seeing multiple job openings in their site. Turns out the positions are static on the pages and they have no intention of changing. For a tech company their website was trash. I receive a call back from an older sounding woman telling me I'm overqualified for the position. The only position is for telemarketing (they called it something more positive-sounding). They said they only promote from within. I would have to work as this telemarketer position and then apply when a better position becomes available. Didn't fall for the bait and switch. If you are a telemarketer, maybe this is for you.
Red flags
Only promote from within, no hiring outside professionals.
Marketing firm with poor website, social media presence
Husband and wife run the company. This is a personal red flag and may have no effect on how they run their business. It is my professional opinion it's hard to be successful when multiple people are untouchable. Hard to imagine trying to fire my wife.
