Initial communication was driven via email. The hiring manager was incredibly responsive, and scheduled the interview at your earliest convenience.
The spoken word interview was short, and covered the essential basics; expectations of the role, experience in the field, and any questions you may have.
What followed was the code review; they provided a code-scenario, and gave you as much time as needed to complete the scenario. They were reviewing code quality, comment quality, code style, and understanding and use of design structures and concepts (like MVVM and MVC). It was not a super challenging coding test/code review.
Finally, there was a portfolio review of past projects; this was again to review code quality, comment quality, and coding style.
