Interview was good. Asked about the concerned topics and decent and more on techincal related to mathematica. Random topic is selected and asked about the test cases in all scenarios. Only one round technical interview is done.
Had a phone call, the woman seemed friendly but not very inviting. Got rejected after the call was done. Disappointing all around, would not recommend it to other new graduates.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wolfram in Jul 2018
Interview
Applied through a general application online. Got a call from a recruiter a couple of days later. The recruiter was nice to talk me through my skills and find a matching job at Wolfram.
I got a 30 min technical call after that. Spoke about the project and mathematica language. The interviewer said he should get feedback from hiring manager.
I got a task to do in mathematica after that. The cloud note book software is crappy. The company has to improve it. It was a simple task to work on Json in mathematica. A simple google search would get you there. After that hiring manager gave a call to review my code. I don't know what he would be expecting from a first time coder in that language. I did not do things the efficient way because I don't know the concepts involved. It is an interesting language though python would kill it any day.
Got reject after this.
