I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Wolfspeed (Durham, NC) in Mar 2019
Interview
Fair overall interview process that asked a few challenging technical questions relevant to the position in order to gauge how fit candidates were for the responsibilities. Interviewer was somewhat awkward to talk to, however.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wolfspeed
Interview
Phone interview followed by a Skype interview/presentation to a group. The Skype interview was bizarre, the group didn't introduce themselves, and their camera was turned off, so they could see me but I couldn't see them. I gave a 30 minute talk and then answered questions for 30 minutes. Hands down the most unpleasant interview experience I have had to date. Declined onsite interview.

Question 1
"Estimate the number of flat tires each day in the united states." Both the phone interviewer and Skype interviewers were aggressive and at times rude. Questions were often pedantic and didn't pertain to my research.
