      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wolfspeed in Feb 2016

      Interview

I applied online, I got an email from HR generalist to answer certain basic questions. After that I was asked to complete 25 Questions, which are kind of testing and tough. They cover almost everything and one needs to spend enough time(atleast a day) to answer them. Think , google and frame your answers. These questions will be the base of the next interview-telephonic. In my case telephonic interview lasted for 30 minutes. Questions were pretty straight forward-LED, Projects related to the field to which I am applying for, Questions from the 25 Questions and answers, asking in detail about my answers or to add more to what I have written. Honestly, I dont know why I was rejected or what they were expecting. Please keep in mind that the work hours can range from minimum of 50 to maximum anything per week. It is a good company to start your career with. Review their products and practice answering your 25 questions , resume related questions, etc Be straight forward

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wolfspeed (Durham, NC) in Apr 2020

      Interview

First Step (I got an invitation for HR interview after two days from my online application): 30 min long call with a HR person. She was very friendly. Asked me about usual behavioral questions along with few IQ test/situational questions. I answered all the questions satisfactorily. Second Step ( After a week from the first interview) : Due the Coronavirus outbreak they arranged day long Virtual interview with 5 interviewers separately ( 1 on 1) instead of onsite interviews. Each interview was 45 min long. Everyone was very nice. We had meaningful discussions based on my resume mainly. They also asked few technical questions on SEM and Quality Management topics (8D, FMEA etc.) Third Step (Two days after the Second Step): Had another 30 min long phone interview with a Product Engineering Manager.
