It's highly disappointing and unprofessional to experience a complete lack of communication after multiple interview rounds, especially when one of them involved an in-person visit to your HQ. As a candidate who has invested time and effort in the process, being left without any response is disrespectful and reflects poorly on the company's values.
It's imperative to maintain basic courtesy by providing closure or feedback, even if the decision favors another candidate. Ignoring candidates who have dedicated their time and resources to engage with your team is not just discourteous but reflects poorly on the company's professionalism and respect for individuals.
I strongly urge the team to reevaluate their communication protocols and adopt a policy that ensures all candidates, regardless of the final decision, receive acknowledgment and closure after participating in the interview process. It's fundamental to uphold a reputation of fairness, respect, and professionalism in all interactions with potential employees.
My interview process was two virtual interviews, one in person interview, and I was scheduled and confirmed to have another final in person interview when they decided to ghost.
