Lengthy Process, No Feedback.
I interviewed for the Digital Marketing Manager position and, based on my background, felt I was a strong fit with extensive experience in the space.
The process was long and demanding, spanning several weeks. It included an initial HR screening, 2 quiz assessments, a round with the hiring manager, and finally an in-person presentation and case studies with two managers. While the scheduling itself was smooth, the overall process felt unnecessarily heavy for the role.
After the final stage, communication went silent for a week. Eventually, I was informed of a rejection, with no feedback or explanation provided even after asking for it. For a process that asked so much from a candidate, the lack of even a brief feedback or reasons why was disappointing.
Advice to Management: If you’re going to require multiple rounds and assessments, please respect candidates’ investment of time by offering constructive feedback. It would greatly improve the candidate experience and reflect more positively on the company’s culture.
