I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WorkStep in Jun 2023
Interview
The entire process took about 4 weeks. They moved quickly and were super responsive throughout. I applied via LinkedIn and scheduled a recruiter screen within 10 days of my application. Within an hour after my screen (Friday), I had scheduled my manager interview for the next Monday. Within hours after my manager round with the CPO, I was asked to speak to the cofounder and CTO 2 days later. Things slowed down after that, but for good reason. They invited me to a final round panel with the CPO, lead engineer, lead PMM, and designer. I needed to create a 20 minute presentation highlighting my PM skills via a project. I also had to create a 1 page summary to give to them ahead of time. The final round was the 20 minute presentation + 10 minute Q&A, then 30 minute breakouts with each of the panelists. I had to wait about 12 days for other finalists to complete their processes. Unfortunately, I received a phone call noting that another candidate did better. I got good feedback on this call and was invited to apply again in the future
